2024 ICRP Sponsorship Program
At Indian Creek Racing Productions, we believe in investing in our barrel racer's futures.
We created the ICRP sponsorship program to give riders the opportunity to work within the barrel industry, work on their people skills, and grow as riders. These outstanding individuals embody the philosophy and mission of ICRP to promote kindness, strive to improve as an individual, and to share the love of barrel racing wherever they go.

Taya Owens
My name is Taya Owens, I am 15 years old, and Roo is my partner in crime. She is a grade grey mare, about 10 years old, and she is the silliest but sweetest girl ever! Throughout the past year we have overcome some difficulties, like her being diagnosed with Asthma, but Roo still always tries her hardest.
In August of 2023 we also made the big decision to move her home, and now she spends her days laying around with her little brother, Elvis. In 2023 we have run anywhere from the top of the open 3D to top of the open 5D.
In the 2024 season, I am hoping to run consistently in 3D. This year I am aiming to be the best I can be and having Roo at her best as well. I want to work on improving myself and my riding so I can help her, and we can hopefully achieve our goals while having fun with it too. One of the most important things I am looking to improve on this year is not taking everything so seriously and remembering to just have FUN!
I CANNOT wait to be part of the ICRP team and see what 2024 has in store for all of us and see what great things we can accomplish together!

Bailey Graber
My name is Bailey Graber, I’m 27 and from Southeast Iowa. Two Red Aces (known as Pebbles) is my 8-year-old mare. She is being bred early this year and I will continue to ride her like normal this season.
My goals for the year are to continue to gain confidence and trust in myself and my horse. I am newer to barrel racing the last couple of years and still learning day by day. Pebbles and I have overcome many obstacles over the 3 years I have owned her and can’t wait to see what 2024 brings for us.
My long-term plan is to continue running and progressing with Pebbles while keeping her 2025 foal to raise as my future barrel prospect.

Kaylee Hahn
My name is Kaylee Hahn and I am 16 years old. This will be my third year as a sponsored rider for Indian Creek Racing Productions and I am so excited to be back! The horse that started this all is my unicorn, Barbie (Barbie Has Spirit). She was my barrel horse for the past 3 years and has moved on to poles for this year. After her injury, she hasn't been a huge fan of barrels so I made the tough decision to switch her to something new. So my goal for her this year is to get back in shape!
However, I haven't completely stopped running barrels. A little over a year ago, I purchased my first project horse, Stormy (Jess Wanna Be Streak). She was/is a tough mental battle and a huge learning experience. This year I hope that we can get the perfect pattern or as close to perfect as possible!
Another goal I have for this year is to finish my newest purchase on the barrel pattern for his futurity year. His name is Trei (Three Six Z) and has a TON of potential! I don't have too high of expectations for him, because, well, he is only 4. But I do have high expectations for myself. I hope to one day, have the horses on our own land, and run in the big leagues (mainly the NFR).
Another goal I have, is to graduate high school soon, then attend college at UC Davis for their vet program. Then, after college, travel for rodeo and obviously ICRP. With the help from the ICRP team, my parents, and a few others, I know I can accomplish all of my goals! I am so excited to see what 2024 has to offer!

Alyssa Massman
My name is Alyssa Massman and I am from Bowling Green, MO. My goal for 2024 is to discover what job opportunities are available in the horse world. I’m going to Texas to start my search because it is full of businesses centered around the equine industry and there are so many jobs that I have no idea exist.
Since I recently graduated high school at 16, I have plenty of time to find a career that excites me and to formulate a plan that helps me achieve that exact career. My horse’s registered name is flitsbouttahitthefan, but to make everyone’s life easier we just call her Willow. She is a beautiful cremello mare with big blue eyes. She is absolutely massive, but ultimately a huge teddy bear.
My plan in the arena for this year is to improve the small things about my riding that I know need attention. Most probably wouldn’t notice them, but I do and in my mind the little things play a huge part in the whole picture. I plan to fix them to the best of my abilities as well as to perfect my seat and hands.
My plans for the future are to start saving up money to purchase my own little house and start my life out in the big world. Having graduated early from high school, I have the time to work like crazy. This will allow me to save money now, reducing the need for scrambling later on.
