About Us

Welcome to Indian Creek Racing Productions (ICRP)! What started with a dream and a little paint horse has grown into something truly special. In 2025 alone, ICRP paid out over $941,000 in payouts and awards.

At ICRP, we strive to offer classes for every level of horse and rider. Our events are smooth, professional, and sanctioned whenever possible with Better Barrel Races (BBR), National Pole Bending Association (NPBA), International Barrel Racing Association (IBRA), Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), Bonus Race Finals (BRF), and Get Twisted Productions (GTP). You can expect plenty of added money, awards, and fun at every event we produce.

We work hard to bring family-friendly entertainment and innovation to your barrel racing schedule.

Love coffee? You’ll love our shows! Thanks to our sponsorship with Madrinas, we offer a free coffee bar at all of our three-day barrel races. As another added perk, all 2026 ICRP races will feature a professional livestream provided by Good Earth Photography.

Be sure to check out The Winner’s Circle on our YouTube channel for highlights and more.

Here’s to the future and many more races to come—see y’all soon!

Team ICRP

Owner & Founder of Indian Creek Racing Productions

Welcome to Indian Creek Racing Productions! I’m Danielle Parks, co-owner and founder of ICRP.

I began my journey working freelance on arena crews for several major companies before moving into social media management for Carnival of Cans and Go For Broke Productions. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best in the industry, learning invaluable lessons about production, teamwork, and the world of barrel racing.

ICRP was born during COVID, when races and venues were limited. It was during that time that I truly discovered my passion for production and decided to create something special.

There have been many ups and downs along the way, but I couldn’t ask for a better team. They are the heart of this production, and I am grateful every day for the journey we’re on.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in us so far.

Danielle Parks

Co-Owner of Indian Creek Racing Productions

Hello! My name is Jonathan, and I am the co-owner of Indian Creek Racing Productions. I’ve been married to Danielle for 17 years and have been working behind the scenes to help support ICRP. You’ll see me at select races this year - making coffee, taking times, running errands, working in the arena, and assisting anyway I can. I didn’t choose the horse life, but the horse life chose me.

Jonathan Parks

Official Point Keeper for ICRP

Hey there! I’m Margi Jones. Horses have been a part of my life since childhood, and I’ve been barrel racing since 1998. Over the years, I’ve been proud to support the sport through leadership roles such as NBHA MO05 Director and serving on the MRBRA Board of Directors as Vice President and Awards Chairman.

For the past two years, I’ve been actively involved with Indian Creek Racing Productions as an ambassador, working hands-on to help secure sponsors and support our events. I’m looking forward to keeping track of points for the season, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I love helping keep our barrel racing community strong!

Hi! I’m Lacey! I joined the ICRP staff in 2024 and have enjoyed getting to know so many of you over the past few years as both a staff member and fellow competitor. I primarily work in the office, helping you enter on SGP, make horse and rider changes, and answer questions about our incentives.

You may also find me working the gate, taking times at the announcer’s stand, or occasionally setting a barrel. I can’t wait to see you at the next race!

Hi! I’m Brianna Akers, the newest member of the ICRP crew. While I’m new in this role, I’ve been part of the ICRP family since 2020 as a competitor and fill-in gate and barrel setter, helping ensure each show runs smoothly. I previously served as the Iowa NBHA State Director, and in 2023 I shifted my focus to my own journey in the barrel racing world. Professionally, I manage state grants and the Academic Advising Center at Southeastern Community College. I’m a proud aunt to Harper Jean and sister to Brooke Vancil, and I’m grateful to share this lifestyle with my close-knit family. Our horse crew includes Blondies Mine (“Cookie”), Snowbound Boogie (“Iceman”), and Ima Catman Goldseeker (“Style”). I can’t wait to see you at the next race—and remember, God’s got this.

Hello everyone, this will be my 3rd year working with the ICRP crew, I am usually found in the office helping you spend all your money.  I have worked in the office for several production companies, getting my start with Central 4D and Reflections arena, as well as announcing at several shows.  My husband Jamie and I have owned and operated Central States Classic for two years, a barrel racing production company that runs at Reflections Arena in Festus Missouri.

I own two mares, a spicy sorrel “Dirty Shirley” and palomino “Cat” if you see me, please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself, I would love to meet you, strangers are just friends hiding behind a HELLO!

My name is Bailey Graber, and this will be my first official year with ICRP as staff. What started as being a sponsored rider in 2024, has grown into more friendships and connections than I can count. You’ll find me behind the camera catching all your special moments outside of the arena and conducting The Madrinas Winners Circle interviews after each race day! If you already know me, you know my main mare Pebbles, who is getting 2026 off due to an injury and being bred! You’ll see me in the arena this year on hopefully a variety of horses as I work on my riding, but also exhibitioning my new off the track APHA mare, Knightcapper.

Gate Crew

Hello! My name is Emily Mortensen, also known as the gate lady. I’ve been married to my husband, Cory, since August 16, 1997. I’m a mom to Keegan and Raeden, and a grandma to Walker, Faron, and Dawson.

I am a nurse and spent eight years as a hospice nurse. I now work on the med/surg oncology floor. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, horses (especially barrel racing), and simply living the dash.

My piece of advice: Put God first, and the rest will follow.

Gate Crew

My wife, Jeanet, and I have five children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. We live north of Mexico, Missouri, where we raise horses and cows.

My love of horses began early in life. My stepmom was a trainer and instructor at Stephens College, and I spent many summers at the Stephens College stables riding and caring for horses. I worked as a teacher and counselor in Fulton and Mexico and coached cross country, wrestling, and track for 30 years.

After retiring from education, I went on to work as a veterinary technician for another 10 years. I didn’t become involved in barrel racing until our youngest daughter, Ana, began competing, but it has been a passion of mine for over 20 years now.

Now that I am no longer following Ana around the country to rodeos and barrel races, it has been an amazing experience working the gate at barrel races. In my opinion, there is no better place to watch a race. Being at the holding pen and warm-up area allows you to truly get to know the horses and riders. There is no other event where the connection between horse and rider is so strong—and you can clearly see that connection from the gate.

My name is Kaylee Hahn, and I am 18 years old. I am a senior in high school, and this fall I will be attending Mizzou to study animal science. I am pursuing a career in equine reproduction and rehabilitation.

This will be my fifth year working with ICRP, and I am so excited to be back for another amazing season. This year I will be running three horses—Stormy, Smash, and Barbie—and preparing one for her futurity year, Lou.

Last year, I set a goal for myself and ICRP to help build the pole bending community. I am proud to say we accomplished that. With the support of my family and ICRP, I started my pole bending incentive, Get Twisted. My goal this year is to continue growing pole bending through Get Twisted Productions.

I am very excited to be returning to ICRP and to continue representing them this season.

My name is Jacey Gray. I am 12 years old and currently in the 6th grade at Schuyler county R-1 in Queen City MO. I have two brothers (Lane and Wyatt). I am super proud to be an aunt to Layton, Austee and Wacey.   I also play softball and basketball for my school and am a member of the Missouri JH and HS Rodeo.

This is my second year being a sponsored rider for Indian Creek.  I am super excited for the 2026 season. I have three mares - Sadie, Sunday and Tori. Last fall my dad bought me my 3-year-old buckskin gelding that I named Ice. We will be doing a lot of expos and seasoning this year to prepare for his futurity year in 2027. I am super excited to have the opportunity to train my own barrel horse!

In 2025 with the support of ICRP I created the program called “The Youth Buckle Blast.” With this program we give away 3 youth buckles every Saturday and Sunday at the ICRP races. I am proud to say that we gave away 36 buckles last season at the events in Festus! This year I am so excited to announce that we will give away 66 buckles in 2026 and have expanded to more shows in 4 states! I appreciate everyone that has chosen to sponsor this program and help me grow it!

Here is to “The year of the horse” and an awesome 2026 season with Indian Creek!
